Individual Counselling

During an Individual Counselling session we work together using a variety of tools and techniques to support you as you work through any challenges you are experiencing. 

Whatever your situation, an individual counselling session is designed to  support you to find understanding and navigate life's challenges in a gentle and natural way.

As a Trauma informed counsellor, coach and clinical EFT practitioner, I work from a place that understands trauma responses and can gently and safely work with you to support you as you regulate your nervous system and navigate challenges in a way that supports without triggering.

Each day, each session and each person I work with is unique and working holistically allows the space needed to get the most from every session. We work entirely at a pace that feels good to you, ensuring your personal needs and preferences are considered at all times.

I not only support you throughout each session, but teach you practical tools and techniques that you can take away and implement in your day to day life.

I support you as you learn to regulate your nervous system, tune into and trust your inner voice, and build resilience and an increased capacity to deal with all of life's many ups and downs. 

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

EFT is a stress reduction technique that includes elements of cognitive therapy and  exposure therapy alongside the physical stimulation of known acupuncture points. It is an effective, somatic (body-based) stress-management tool.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT supports you to understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Together we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours and find more balanced ways to respond to life's challenges.

Solution Focused Therapy

A short-term, goal-orientated approach that helps you focus on what is working rather than what is going wrong. It is about identifying goals, building on what you are already doing well and creating practical solutions that work for you.

Person Centred Therapy

This approach works on the belief that you are the expert in your own life. We create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, allowing you to connect with your inner strengths.
